1. Place of the competition: The championships will be held on June 5th and 6th at the “Basketball Club UMCC Arena” which is located at 100 meters by feet from the hotel. http://www.basket.ugmk.com/en/arena/verhnyaya_pimsha/

2. Official hotels: The athletes and followers will be accommodated in the following 3 stars hotel: Metalurg Hotel 22 Ordzhonikidze, Verkhnyaya Pyshma. You can have a look of the place on the net on: http://www.hotelselem.ru/uralelectromed.html .

The presidents will be accommodated in the following 4 stars hotel: Selenium Hotel, serowskogo trakta, Verkhnyaya Pyshma. You can have a look of the place on the net on: http://www.hotelselem.ru/selen.html .

Both hotels are located to 5 minutes by walk each other.

Most of the rooms are twin rooms, that’s to say with two separate beds. There is no need to try to contact the hotel directly: we have booked the whole hotel for the competition. Any information or reservation must absolutely be done through WABBA World!!

Everybody (athletes, delegates and followers) will have to give a copy of their credit card to the hotel, to cover the « extras » that they might order. The responsible person of each nation will have to give his credit card in order to cover the prospective damages caused by the members of his delegation.

3. Respect of the infrastructure of the hotels: As you know it, every year we emphasize on the respect of the infrastructure of the hotel and particularly on the utilization of self-tanning cream in the rooms. In consequence, please advise your athletes not to make the bed sheets and the bath towels dirty especially with the self-tanning cream they use during competitions. Should there be any damage, this shall be invoiced and have to be paid before the delegation leaves. Thanks for your understanding. As guarantee, all the passports (athletes, delegates and followers) will be kept by the hotel during all the stay and will be restored at the time of the check out of the hotel.

4. Arrival and departure: Arriving at Yekaterinburg regional or international airport, the nations will enjoy the transport between the airport and the hotel (back and forth). The arrival will be on June 4th and everybody will have to leave the rooms on the June 7th at noon.

WABBA World must imperatively receive at the latest for May the 21st the flight numbers, airline companies, arrival and departure schedules, as well as the number of persons, for each nation. This is necessary for the organization of the shuttles between the airport and the hotel. If no information has been given for May the 21st, the WABBA World will not be responsible in case there is no shuttle.

5. Meals: All participants (athletes, delegates) will be provided breakfast for 3 nights at the hotel. Meals will be organised during all the stay in the restaurant of the hotel during its opening hours and it will be possible to order plain pasta (no salt), boiled white rice (no salt) or grilled chicken (no salt) (to be asked at the order). The payment will have to be made at the restaurant directly.

6. Temporary schedule of the events:

• Friday June 4th
  
  • From 12.00PM to 18.00PM – Arrival of the nations and registration by WABBA World General Secretary – François Saussez. Attention, the rooms will not be distributed before your registration is made.
    
  • From 18.00PM to 22.00PM: registration of the nations only with the complete team of athletes accompany by their president or their representative.
    
• Saturday June 5th
  
  • Around 10.00 AM – Meeting with all the athletes in the room of the prejudging followed by the meeting with the judges.
    
  • Around 11.00 AM – Beginning of the prejudging for all the categories, starting with the Super J24 category.
    
    
• Sunday June 6th
  • Around 11.00 AM – European Congress with all the Presidents in the hall.
    
  • 16.00 PM - Departure of the whole of the participants (athletes, accompanying person, etc...) from the hotel towards the "Basketball Club UMCC Arena" where the final will take place.
    
  • Around 17.00 PM - Final of the 2010 European Championships for all the categories, starting by the Medium Class category.
    
• Monday June 7th
  • From 6.00 AM to 12.00 PM: return of the rooms and departure from the hotel. For the nations going back to the airport, please don’t forget to send the paper with flight information back to the WABBA World before May 21st!
    

7. Followers/supporters/journalists/photographers: The organizer proposes them a « package » including 3 hotel nights (only in 2 persons bedrooms), as well as breakfast, the entry to the prejudging and to the final competition and transport between airport and hotel for the amount of 150 €. The additional costs will be at the follower’s expense.

The payment will be made by cash in euros and ONLY during the registration of the nation that those persons are part of. We don’t accept cheques or credit cards.

8. Visas: For any person who wishes an invitation in order to obtain a visa must be addressed at its national committee 2 weeks at least before the departure. However, the easiest way is to ask your travel agency to get a tourist visa for you which will not need any invitation letter. It is not necessary to say that you are going for a contest.

9. Climate: The climate in Yekaterinburg during June is rather good, the temperature hovering around 15OC.

10. Language and official currency: Russian and Rubbles ONLY. There are several banks around the hotel to change Euros)
